1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to all services provided by Maritime Property Solutions Inc. (hereinafter "MPS", "we", or "us") to property owners in Atlantic Canada. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

MPS provides the following services:

  • Property Oversight: Scheduled inspections, condition reports with photos, security and weather checks, key management, and access control.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Repair coordination, seasonal maintenance, emergency response, utility management, and vendor coordination.
  • Renovation Oversight: Project management, quality control, budget and timeline monitoring, trade coordination, and permit management.
  • Legal & Tax Coordination: Coordination with qualified legal and tax professionals for cross-border matters, UHT compliance, and property transactions.

Maritime Property Solutions Inc. does not provide legal or tax advice. We are not lawyers, tax advisors, or licensed financial consultants. Our legal and tax coordination services are limited to coordinating and facilitating with qualified professionals. Any information we provide is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

4. Limitation of Liability

MPS shall not be liable for damages caused by force majeure, natural disasters, acts of third parties, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount of fees paid for the relevant service.

5. Confidentiality

All information provided to us in connection with our services is treated as confidential. We only share personal data with third parties to the extent necessary to deliver our services or as required by law.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days' written notice. In the event of termination, all services rendered up to the termination date will be invoiced.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nova Scotia.
